Organizational Structure
Green Bay Early Childhood Centre has agreed
a charter with the Ministry of Education, and receives
bulk funding from them. Compliance with the charter and
the Education (Early Childhood Centre's) regulations is
monitored by the Education Review Office. Copies of all
these documents are held at the centre and are available
for parent’s inspection. Parents are asked to contribute
to policy development, review and decisions concerning
their child’s care and education
Staff
Green Bay Early Childhood Centre Management is committed
to staffing the centre with qualified and caring staff.
The
Manager,
Lorene,
has a Bachelor of Teaching and Learning (ECE) with
Canterbury University, teachers registration and a First
Aid Certificate. Salna undertook a Graduate Diploma in
Teaching (ECE) through the University of Auckland and
has Provisional Teachers Registration. Nadine has a
Diploma in Early Childhood with the New Zealand Tertiary
College and also has a First Aid Certificate and
provisionally registered. Spring has a National
Certificate in Early Childhood Education and Care and a
First Aid Certificate.
Hours
Our centre is open from Monday to Friday from 7-30 am –
6-00 pm, and will only be closed on public holidays.
